Jeffrey Wallace, President

Jeffrey Wallace is a senior Project Manager and Consultant with more than 25 years experience in Business Management and Information Technology.  His varied experience includes business leadership (CIO and CEO), financial and operations management, strategic business and IT planning, workshop facilitation, business transition and contract negotiation, PMO establishment and operation and direct project delivery.  He has personally delivered projects (ranging from $50k to over $170mm), in a variety of public and private sector organizations. Jeffrey has worked for private and public sector organizations all over the world, including Canada and the United States, many European countries, Australia, New Zealand and Korea.

In addition to his practical project delivery and business management experience, Jeffrey is an accomplished public speaker having delivered keynote speeches in such varied venues as PMI conferences, the New Zealand police association, and the University of Calgary.  Jeffrey holds a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. Jeffrey has a grown family and still competes in Olympic Style (WTF) Tae Kwon Do martial arts.

Kimberly Shaw, Vice President

Kimberly has almost 20 years of strategic business and corporate development experience within North America and Europe.  Hers is a career invested in fostering strategic relationships with current and prospective clients, and offering advisory and consultative services at senior levels within public and private sectors.

She possesses a deep background in managing people and delivering scalable solutions to Finance, O&G, Retail, Supply Chain, Media, Government, and Technology clients.

In consecutively senior roles within professional services environments. Kimberly has specific experience managing and mentoring teams within growth and recovering markets. Her ability to handle challenges and changes is best demonstrated through the creation and implementation of effective and efficient strategic business and client lifecycle plans.

Kimberly has elaborated professional services practices in growth organizations ranging from $4 mm to $500 mm in revenue.  She has also recovered and expanded operations through effective business and corporate development planning, most recently achieving 400% growth in established Veris clients and expanding its key client portfolio.  She is also dedicated to recruitment and professional development excellence at Veris while serving as ambassador to its brand.

Kimberly has a growing family, a robust personal and professional network, and a passion for opportunity, change, and challenge.

Darren Wood, Director

Darren is a leader with more than 15 years of progressively more complex roles and increasingly demanding accountabilities.  He has worked in many different business and sectors over his career and bring a calm and thoughtful approach to business management and service delivery.  His back ground includes business analysis and strategic consulting with varied industry and technical expertise. He brings experience and leadership along with his depth of knowledge in Business Management, Project Management, Business Analysis, and Organizational Transformation to Veris’ clients ensuring that only the highest quality service is provided. Darren has lead and mentored teams consisting of internal and external resources and has participated in over 40 successful Organizational Transformation and Information Technology projects over the duration of his career.

Through his role on the management team and leader of the Veris Analysis & Change Practice, Darren ensures that our people are reaching their maximum potential and that customers receive the utmost value for the services we provide.

Through the Veris Value Management process he ensures that Veris is focusing on providing the “Right Thing” the “Right Way” and that the client reaches all its desired outcomes. He works closely with clients to develop solution based approaches to the challenges that they face in order to ensure that the focus is on achieving its strategic goals and that benefits are measured and realized. Darren thrives on providing value, influencing business processes and driving positive change throughout the organization.

Through leadership in the Veris Practice he ensures that consultants work together and are provided with time saving collateral while drawing on the collective knowledge of our past experiences. At Veris we approach every engagement as a firm not as individuals.

Darren has a large and dynamic family and is active in the Business Analyst community where he has previously held positions on the Board of Directors for the IIBA Calgary Chapter.
