Project Administrator - Edmonton

Position Description:

This position requires an individual who is highly organized and efficient to support the operations a large complex Project. The ideal candidate will be an experienced project coordinator, proficient with computers, with exceptional attention to detail, flexibility, versatility, resourcefulness and impeccable communication skills. This is a full-time position and requires the individual to work on-site.

Position Requirements:

Supporting the executive management of the Toronto office as well as the needs of the broader team in the Canada/East division; 
Coordinating project calendars supporting multiple project managers;
Reviewing and processing project expenses; 
Making travel arrangements for executives;
Drafting correspondence and editing reports (layout and language); 
Serving as a primary point of contact for the administrative needs for the Project
Update project dashboard and timeline using MS Projects Online; 
Managing project documentation (paper and electronic); 
Meeting coordination, minutes and distribution; 
Miscellaneous duties including filing (electronic and hard copy), faxing, photocopying, courier and mail; 
Manage project communications;
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly project reports

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience in roles of increasing responsibility, with prior experience providing program or project coordination on business or IT projects;
High degree of proficiency and autonomy with computers, printers and other office equipment; 
Excellent PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills; proficiency in Outlook and Internet research skills;

Proficiency with Microsoft Projects (online preferred) and MS SharePoint;
Excellent English writing and grammar skills
Significant experience managing multiple and concurrent responsibilities and establishing and acting against relative priorities, independently but within prescribed guidelines; 
An ability to learn quickly and the confidence to coach others on new tools, software, equipment or processes.

Assets:

The following skills are desirable but not mandatory for this position:

Junior College or Vocational education desired.

Experience within the Utility, Government, Consulting or Retail sector.

Ability for some travel is preferred.
